Eden is a Registered Psychologist who has extensive knowledge and experience working with children, adolescents and families who have been impacted by trauma and living with disadvantage.  

​

Eden also has experience working with educators, child protection professionals and allied health practitioners in advisory and professional development roles, supporting their knowledge and skills in the area of the neurobiology of trauma and trauma-informed practice.  

​

Eden volunteers as a Director on the board of an Adelaide non-government organisation which provides accommodation and support service to youth at-risk or experiencing homelessness. She is passionate about resourcing individuals, families and communities to support children and young people and break the cycle of disadvantage​.

​

Eden's early career experience includes varying timeframes spent working within the disability, youth homelessness and out of home care contexts. She also spent 12 months undertaking volunteer work in South Africa, supporting infants, children and young people residing in orphanages. 

 

Eden highly values connection and relationship within her work and is warm and playful.  Eden’s work is influenced by diverse areas, such interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, developmental dyadic psychotherapy, self-compassion and mindfulness, and various other biopsychosocial approaches. She uses a variety of therapeutic and evidence-based practices within her work with children, adolescents, families and professionals which build upon their strengths, support them to overcome challenges and facilitate integrated healing and skill development. 

 

Outside of work, Eden enjoys spending time with family and friends, undertaking various creative ventures, spending time at the beach, travelling and exploring new foods and cultures. She also loves listening and singing along to music.
