ABOUT LIFE SKILLS HUB
Life Skills Hub is one of a kind space in Adelaide's Northern suburbs, for young people aged 7-25 to develop their capacity to function independently, and develop connections with similar-aged peers. We support young people to be their true, authentic selves in a welcoming, positive and FUN space.

Our simulated home environment provides a comfortable and welcoming space where young people "want" to go for support services.

Forget "ordinary" appointments, Life Skills Hub blends the concepts between traditional therapy rooms and the home, resulting in a simulated home environment. We offer comfortable, and functional spaces for 1:1 therapy, therapy groups, mentoring and recreational group activities.
Our Mission
To put it simply, we support young people to CONNECT LIFE'S DOTS. But what does this actually mean?
Adolescence is tricky for any young person, and some may need some extra support on their journey through this life stage. Our primary mission is to support the development of skills to be well-positioned in everyday life. This could look many things including:
-
Independence with self-care and independent living skills.
-
Establishing effective routines.
-
Adapting to new environments and situations.
-
Social skill development with a sense of connection.
-
Build inner confidence and resilience to have a positive outlook on life!
-
Having fun!
With a heavy focus on community, we provide young people with a safe space to express themselves and connect with likeminded peers. We provide opportunities to engage in activities that are meaningful, as well as offering exposure to new ideas. We support the notion of branching out and trying new things, empowering youth to grow and connect.
Life Skills Hub is a safe space for young people to be their true, authentic selves.
Our services are underpinned by our shared values of respect, integrity, inclusion, community and collaboration. Our team embody these values and are passionate about supporting young people to confidently transition through adolescence.
We listen and respond to the voice of the individual and the broader community. We want to know what you want!
Our Step-Down Model
At Life Skills Hub, our primary goal is to support young people to socially connect and become more independent. We understand that the path to independence is a journey – and it is important to provide young people with the right opportunities to match their skills and interests.

Life Skills Hub ensures a gradual transition from individual 1:1 therapy to group settings, employing a step-down model approach. This ensures that young people are not only gaining skills but also learning how to apply them in broader social settings; promoting genuine independence. All services work towards identified goals and are developed with particular skills in mind.
